Meet Our Newest Brand Alamere!

We’re all about working with small, Bay Area based businesses so it’s only fitting that we’ve recently started carrying the San Francisco brand Alamere! With their sturdy, neutral toned clothing, Alamere is the perfect answer to the Bay’s notoriously unpredictable weather. Winter is around the corner (it’s going to a chilly one!) so we’ve stocked the store with the City Puff Jacket, Paige Soft Shell Jacket, and the Polartec Fleece Hoodie.

Even if you don’t live in the Bay, their products are sure to come in handy during the colder months. Because most of Alamere’s outerwear is designed with water/ odor resistance or has a loose fit, they provide the practical touch that we all tend to gravitate towards on a day-to-day basis. With a long-lasting (they’ve been around for 20 years!) business, most designers and brands would get comfortable or stagnant with their craft so it’s refreshing that Alamere is always on the hunt for improvement. The designers look to real life customers for suggestions on fit and fabric and spend an ample amount of time meticulously testing prototypes. Like us, they’re all about giving their customers nothing short of the best!

Of course, ethics are just as important as production practices and carrying brands that uplift the community is always something that’s important to us. Funding a business or brand can be challenging, especially without the funds or resources to do so, so we were thrilled to see that Alamere donates left over fabric scraps to local companies that want to upcycle them for their own designs. Focusing on creating durable products, promoting respectable production practices, and giving back to the community and smaller businesses is what we’re all about and we’re happy that we’ve found yet another brand who sees eye-to-eye with our vision!
